Walk down the Hardware Lane
Strange faces sipping champagne
Street lights, long nights
Empty streets and cold breezes,
Boy it’s another lonely night
She’s wishing for her dark knight.
She blamed on her past,
Wishing the thoughts would never last,
Oh you know, she tried,
Looking for a place to hide,
But there’s no safe section,
Only lost in another direction.
Life for her is a catch and release,
One day she got pissed another she’s in bliss
Like a wild flower anywhere she grow,
Now her heart wide open let the pasts to flow
Away, away, away, it flows
Away, away, away only God knows
Away, away, away her future glows
Well she’s in her late 20s,
While her friends are having babies,
Working her own life she sways,
“Life is an adventure” she says,
Years and miles away she flees,
Anywhere she can find her bliss,
Her friends said she’s stubborn,
She insisted to follow her pattern,
She’s never been submissive,
Ain’t waste her time being passive,
She said “life is gigantic”
On and on, she build her own attic.
